How it works

Inside our plant factories

A plant factory replaces the weather with equipment. Multi-tier racks, LED grow lights, air conditioning, dehumidification, CO₂ dosing and a recirculating nutrient system run inside an insulated box, so the crop sees the same day every day.

We build two formats. Container farms arrive as 20 ft or 40 ft units that are wired, plumbed and tested before they leave Shanghai. Indoor plant factories are designed around a building you already have, from a single room to a warehouse floor. Both can be configured for leafy greens, strawberries, sprouts and hydroponic fodder, or as mushroom cabins with humidity and fresh-air control.

Who they're for: Distributors and growers who need steady, year-round supply close to the buyer: hot or cold climates, islands, cities, mines, camps, and livestock farms that need green feed in the dry season.

  • Climate

Air conditioning, fresh-air exchange and humidity control hold temperature and moisture in a set band around the clock.

  • Light

Full-spectrum LED fixtures on each tier, on programmable photoperiods, replace sunlight entirely.

  • Water & nutrients

Recirculating NFT or tidal irrigation with EC and pH monitoring; water that isn't taken up returns to the tank.

  • Control

A PLC or IoT controller logs conditions and lets you adjust set points locally or remotely.

FAQ

Plant factories: common questions

Ask a question
What crops can a container plant factory grow?

Container and indoor plant factories are best suited to short, compact crops: lettuce and other leafy greens, herbs, microgreens, strawberries, sprouts and hydroponic fodder such as barley. Mushroom cabins use a different climate profile for oyster, shiitake and similar species. Tall fruiting crops like tomatoes are usually better in a greenhouse.

What utilities does a plant factory need on site?

Every unit needs a stable electrical supply, clean water and a level base. Power demand depends on the lighting area and the cooling load for your climate, so we size it per project and state the voltage, phase and frequency in the quotation. Most sites also want internet access for remote monitoring.

Can the size and layout be customized?

Yes. Rack tiers, aisle width, lighting density, irrigation type and control options are configured to the crop and output you need. Container farms come in 20 ft and 40 ft formats; indoor plant factories are drawn around your building's dimensions.

How is a container farm shipped?

A container farm ships as its own container, so it travels on a standard container vessel and is lifted onto site with a crane or side-loader. Indoor plant factories ship as packed racks, panels and equipment in standard containers with a loading list.

Is training included?

Each system ships with operating documentation, and we provide remote guidance for installation, commissioning and first crops. Spare parts lists are included in the quotation.
